My name is Tatiana Moroz, and I am a singer-songwriter and independent musician. I have been an activist for a while now, having performed with Ron Paul, Gary Johnson, and a whole slew of other great folks. You may have heard my cover of Dylan’s “Masters of War” or seen me on Breaking the Set. However, after the 2012 elections, I became disillusioned with the political process. It was a rough after all the highs of the year, but also resulted in deep friendships and good lessons.
Despite the setbacks, I was starting to find some answers. One was education. I had already been encouraging people to go out and “Make A Youtube Video”, but I wanted to unify with other activists groups with whom we had a lot in common. I was sick of all the infighting, so I wrote “Same Side” which inspired my talent agency I started for all the great activists that I had met along the way. I wanted to serve as an event resource for the community.
Fast forward to the Crypto Currency Convention in Atlanta where I performed at the Bitpay Party. I had purchased Bitcoin back in 2012 from Tony Gallippi who had tried to explain Bitcoin to me. I didn’t know what he was talking about back then, but I bought some, and that was that.
However, now in October 2013, I looked around me with new eyes. I recognized something in the air. It was HOPE! I remember how inspired I was when I thought Ron Paul had found a solution for “the system”. This was the same feeling, only better! There was no reason or need to ask for permission. This was unbridled human creativity and innovation in action, and a way to liberate the people!
And so, as my understanding grew deeper, I wrote a Bitcoin song. It started out as a jingle, but as I learned more, it became a message.

It was sort of a fun song, but there was a far deeper meaning to me. Bitcoin was true freedom, and we were just at the beginning. I had to learn more! Lucky for me, I got an inside look at the crypto world. I performed in Argentina, Germany, NY, Toronto, California and more.
When it was suggested to me to make a Tatiana Coin back in Berlin in February, I thought it was a joke. Who would think that just a few months later I would be the guinea pig/pioneer for the first ever artist coin? The team that has emerged from this (Distributed.Buzz, Adam B. Levine, Coin Powers, and Counter Party) is helping create a template for liberating artistic endeavors everywhere. Innovative companies and people are joining with us every day. If we the people can help bootstrap great ideas, the world eco system will expand. We all share in the success in an entirely new way. I look forward to documenting my experiences for this project as much as I can. I hope you will join us for this endeavor.
